About Me

Now if I could just get this to …

The question of the ages. Who am I? Who are you? Who are any of us? Yes, I am many things. As are you, aren’t you? Ah, but putting that through a word system certainly limits a real definition right away, doesn’t it? Well, I will try my best to encapsulate who I could actually be, and maybe even become. Possibly in the process … you may learn something about yourself? I hope so, or why come here at all?

I enjoy meditating at sunrise on a mountain … I look forward to riding my motorcycle on a winding road at mid-day … I like making love to my wife under the moonlight … I love to travel where I’ve never been … I take pleasure in driving my Miata with the top down on a coastal highway … I aspire to be more tomorrow than I am today … And to always have fun, no matter what I am doing.

I am a filmmaker (in progress), a writer (working at), a photographer (maybe), a football fan (at times), a thinker (I think), a creative (I try), a father (twice), a husband (thrice), a human being (sometimes), a spiritual being (always), a warrior (when I need to be), a lover (when I love to be), a flyer (yes!), a wanderer (when not lost), a traveler (whenever I can), a jokester (naturally), a loner (most of the time), a seeker (driven), a searcher (of course), an adventurer (by nature), an explorer (easily), a rebel (without thinking), a maverick (by choice), and I am becoming more, each and every day. Aren’t you?

I wish I could play music, but I wonder which instrument. And sing, yes singing would be fun. I sing in the shower and in my car, and thankfully no one can hear me. Yes, I would love to be able to sing, but to sing very well. Yes that would be the ticket. Ah yes, but one more thing for sure. Astronaut, or better yet, a galactic star pilot. Yes, commanding and flying a starship. To me, the most perfect job in all the universe. Aahh, in another life … possibly.

I meditate every day, traveling inside myself, listening to the nectar of the gods, and wondering where I fit in this wondrous vastness of creation. In those meditations, sometimes I fly around, other times I sit in boredom, others I fill my gas tank, and still others I wander and wonder, ‘Who am I? Where do I come from? Where am I going?’ Yes indeed, always questions, maybe even occasionally an answer, now unknown or on the verge of being known. Yet, in that huge dark abyss I do see light, and I continue diligently traveling towards it.

So, are you coming along for the ride? Or would you like to hitch up your own vehicle and fly in formation? Either way, I’ll try not to be boring. For life should never be that, as a wise man once told me, “If you’re not having fun, you’re doing it wrong.” And I must add, because you never know; “there actually may be a way to get out of here alive, really alive.” Right?

I guess in the end you could probably say I am a spiritual explorer, a metaphysical scientist, and a humble servant of creation, all involved on a quest for the greater reality …

Alive is a given. Awake is the goal.

I love your humility and that most everything that defines you is still “In Progress”! Isn’t that the truth? At least for those that strive to be more and look beyond this temporal human bodysuit as some call it. A true seeker.
